Tryko Partners (Tryko or the Company) is a real estate private equity investment and management firm specializing in the ownership and operation of multifamily properties, healthcare facilities and operating companies, and municipal tax liens. We are seeking a talented attorney experienced in sophisticated commercial and real estate transactions to join our legal team!
The Corporate Counsel will serve as the legal advisor to senior management, and lead the structuring and negotiation of complex commercial contracts around real estate, structured finance, distressed debt, healthcare facility, acquisitions and investments.
Responsibilities will include:
Provide legal counsel on a broad spectrum of complex commercial real estate activities, including acquisitions and dispositions, leases, market standard and complex financings, and restructurings.
Structure, negotiate, draft and execute a wide array of sophisticated contracts and high-dollar transactions.
Provide analysis and interpretation on applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, and ensuring contract compliance.
Partner with other in-house attorneys to handle legal issues arising from existing commercial relationships and management of property portfolio.
Assist in management of litigation and disputes.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years legal experience negotiating and drafting complex corporate transactions.
Commercial real estate, structured finance and/or distressed debt experience required.
Experience with healthcare facility contracts a plus.
Strong business acumen and ethical standards.
Ability to think creatively and interface with senior management.
Superior negotiation, drafting and communication skills.
Must be self-motivated and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and meet tight deadlines.
JD degree from accredited law school and NJ bar admission in good standing required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
